About Me

My photo
I'm a bit of a born-again wargamer! I played many of the Games Workshop games when I was in my teens and early twenties, but left the hobby behind when I went to University. Over the last few years I have gradually got back into it and am literally having a ball! I'll play pretty much anything now, ranging from ancient historical to the far future! I think that I get more out of the painting side of things than actually playing, but that might just be because I get more opportunity. Hence the title...this blog is all about the colour of war!!

Back again and introducing the Eisen Fauste!

Phew! I'm back! We've had some substantial work done on our house and that involved the spare room that I was using for painting been taken by my son for his bedroom. So, since I last blogged I haven't been able to paint a thing...until now! I finally managed to get space to get a temporary desk in to the dining room and have put brush to lead again. Huzzah! So to celebrate my return to active duty, here's my first completed miniature in about two months, ready for his first outing in our next Pulp Alley episode tomorrow night - Hans Schleicher, Hauptmann of the Eisernen Maske's personal strike force, the Eisen Fauste!

  1. The loss of a permament painting space is painful, but family come first.

That's a very nicely finished figure. I really hope he doesn't get to gloat too much in your Pulp Alley game!
